For your convenience our office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday and Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. We close for lunch between 12 and 1 on Fridays only.

Our doctors and staff are dedicated to quality service for all our patients.

Things you will need when making your appointment: We take most VISION insurances; the ones we take require prior authorization. Therefore, we will need to see your insurance cards and make copies. We need home, work and cell phone numbers (pager# also if you have one). Please know the name of your "Vision Insurance carrier" prior to calling for an appointment with our office. If you aren't sure, you can find out from your personnel, human resources office or payroll clerk at your place of employment.

Did you know Medicare will pay on your visual examination? They will, if you have met your deductible and if you have a medical diagnosis.

If you are retired and have Medicare, please be sure to bring your cards (Medicare and supplemental insurance ) with you to our office. Please show them to the receptionist to make copies and then sign the Medicare Signature Form and a waiver if necessary. If you have chosen to be covered under one of the "Senior Plans" we will need to know before you come to see us so that proper authorization can be obtained.

Accurate documentation is critical and you will need to update your record with our office from time to time due to the mandates dictated to us by your insurance carrier.

Laser Correction:
We are affiliated with both TLC and Triad Laser centers in Tulsa. Members of our staff and their families have had the procedure and are so happy they no longer need glasses or contacts. Come see our videos. You may not ever need glasses again.

We also fit our patients with the most up to date contact lens wear. Our doctors are dedicated to protecting your eye health and will take measurements and do fittings that will ensure a perfect fit and continued good health for our patients' eyes. We can fit our patients in many different styles and types of contacts (Disposables, Gas Perms, Toric).

Our doctors do Co-management for Post-Cataract care and follow-up. They can fit you for your post cataract glasses. Did you know Medicare will pay on your post cataract glasses? You are entitled to a complete pair of eyeglasses after each surgery if medically necessary.

Our doctors work with the many Ophthalmologists from Tulsa and the surrounding area. Dr. John Bryan comes to our office once a month to see our patients to make it more convenient for them.

Ours is a well-known and long established practice here in Owasso, Oklahoma. Recognized throughout the state as a leader in vision health care.

Dr. Norman W. Hinkle began practice here after graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1967. He has held several offices for the Oklahoma Optometric Physicians Association as well as for the American Optometric Association. He is a member in good standing for both associations. Member of Owasso Chamber of Commerce for many years also. Both doctor Hinkle and doctor Cash are innovators in their field.

Dr. David L. Cash joined the practice in 1977 after graduating from the University of Houston. As partners they have lead Owasso and Northeastern Oklahoma in the fight for better visual health care. They continue to learn new approaches and techniques to enhance quality patient care. Dr. Cash is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Chad J. Edwards joined the practice in 2000. He received his degree from Northeastern and is a Laser certified physician. Dr. Edwards is affiliated with the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and the College of Optometry and Vision Development. He joins Dr. Hinkle and Dr. Cash in their continued efforts to provide Owasso and the surrounding community with the highest quality of total vision health.

We use state of the art visual equipment, like our visual field machine to help examine and monitor our patients for glaucoma and other ocular pathology. Early detection and treatment is essential for visual well being.

We are looking forward to the 21st Century and all the new and exciting possibilities in the world of good vision care and treatment.
